Age Groups

	Infants (six weeks to 15 months) Learning program will emphasize: Establishing trust Lots of love, individual attention, and conversation Meeting basic needs, including feeding, diapering, sleep and comfort Encouragement of exploration and interaction Fine motor and large muscle skills Tummy time Stories, songs and music Sensory activities

	Toddlers (15 months to 2 years) Learning program will emphasize: Introduction of routine for eating and napping Introduction of basic social skills and manners Introduction of self-help skills, sensory activities and language development Introduction of creative art Lots of love, attention and conversation Fine motor and large muscle activities Story time, songs and music

	Preschool (ages 2 to 4) At age two our formal preschool program begins. We have separate, age-appropriate classrooms and curriculum where the grouping aligns with when your child will start kindergarten. Learning program will emphasize: Regularity in routine for eating, napping and toileting Lots of love, attention and conversation Self-help and communication skills Manners and kindness Thinking and problem solving Numbers and counting Pre-writing skills Socialization and emotional development Creative art Fine motor and large muscle skills Story time and songs An appreciation for books and music Field trips with our own bus transportation

	Pre-K (ages 4 & 5) Learning program features Handwriting Without Tears: Get Set for School curriculum and each child will have their own workbook. Our Pre-K program has a proven track record of success with preparing your child for Kindergarten and beyond. Pre-K will emphasize the aforementioned Preschool skills along with: School readiness Listening skills, following directions and appropriate behavior Pre-math and pre-science concepts Writing skills Introduction of sight words Pre-reading skills and concepts Our Pre-K program is topped off with a graduation ceremony and party with caps and gowns.

	School-Age (up to age 12) Learning program will emphasize: Opportunity to do homework Character and socialization Problem solving and thinking skills Reading and writing Creative art Group projects Sport related activities Fine motor and large muscle activities Field trips with our own bus transportation
